This week I’ve filmed a video about fall. And the top five things in my closet that I am excited to wear now that fall is here.

In my October vlog, I’m playing with fall fashion. Trying to style two old sweaters to avoid buying a new one. Shopping my closet. Again.

I’m loving these weeks of crisp, sunny fall days. Great for wearing blazers as outwear. I call it the brief and wonderful fall blazer window.

I am enjoying my very small fall haul this week, my friends. Styling a new Everlane sweater, and musing about “hauls” in general.

Once my seasonal closet is organized I always do a good closet rummage. To see if I can translate my outfit dreams into reality. Or not.

I awoke the other day, and just like that, it was fall. It’s taken me somewhat unawares. So I’m planning some emergency transitional outfits.

November means the end of sweater weather. Usually. Except for a few sunny, warm days this week when it was sweater weather again.

This week, my ongoing plan to wear what I own involves a five-year-old coat sweater. One I love and intend to wear more often. Hopefully.

I’m doing my fall wardrobe edit this weekend, my friends. At least that’s what I started out doing. But it didn’t quite go as planned.
